LESSONS

Lessons at Tarcoola are offered mainly individually but groups can be organised upon request and 'Saddleclub' group lessons are organised almost fortnightly. You can bring your own horse or you can come to learn and improve your skills and confidence on one of our very special, carefully chosen school horses.

We specialise in confidence building for children and adults alike. Rachael is able to ride, assess and ‘tune up’ your horse before you ride or during your lesson.  If you don’t feel that you can let go of the monkey grip it isn’t a problem you will still leave your lesson feeling that you have achieved.

 Whether you are the ambitious competitor with state level competition in your sights, a pony clubber or just looking to improve your skills we can help. Any age welcome from 3 year olds to grannies. You’re never to young or old to learn.

Our school horses play a very large part in teaching pupils that are just starting out without a horse how to ride in a correct position with confidence, balance and feel. For this reason we haven’t just got any horse to use in the school, our horses have been very carefully selected for their job. They are horses that we have known for a long time or who have been recommended to us by people that have. They are  trustworthy, even tempered, well educated, genuine horses that love their lessons and make our teaching job so much easier. They have many years experience and were all successful competition horses before joining the Tarcoola team.

We can work in with your schedule. Early or late lessons are not a problem.

LESSON FEES- (Effective 1st February 2011)

-45 min lesson on school horse- $55

-30 min lesson on school horse- $35

-Joint 30 min lesson on school horse- $30 per rider

-Joint 60 min lesson on school horse- $45 per rider

-*Families*- 30 min individual consecutive lesson with family member or shared 30 min lesson with family member/s on school horses- $30

- Private lessons on own horses-

                                                        30 min lesson- $30

                                          45 mins-1hr lesson- $55

CANCELLATION POLICY:

As from Jan 1 2009 if a lesson has been booked and cancelled with less than 24 hours notice that lesson will be made payable. This policy will be strictly adhered to.
