TRADITIONAL DAY CAMPS

These are for kids that want to have fun! Those that want to do a little bit of everything whilst learning the fundamentals of riding. Its suitable for beginners, right through to those that can ride or are taking regular lessons. Therefore a mixed age/ ability group is possible so if your child that can ride would like to invite their friend that has no experience- this is absolutely possible! The children’s ability levels are carefully matched to one of our beautiful school ponies.

The day consists of a little bit of everything. We start with obstacle courses, flat work and activities focusing on control. We go on a trail ride, learn and practice some pony club sporting events, and play some pretty fun games on the horses. The kids are also given the opportunity to halter/bridle, brush and water their trusty steed for the day.

Our camps start at 830 and finish at 2.30pm.

The daily schedule is usually

845-945am- session 1

945-1015- morning tea

1015-1215- session 2

12.15-1.15- Lunch

1.15-2.30- session 3
